Ghaneem Irfan Warraich is a rising voice in Pakistan’s legal and intellectual property community, currently serving as the Managing Director of the Cyber & IP Association (CIPA). Known for his strategic foresight and dynamic leadership, Ghaneem oversees nationwide programs that bridge the gap between legal education, digital rights, and innovation. A student of law at Punjab University Law College and an alumnus of Military College Jhelum, Ghaneem brings a disciplined, mission-driven approach to legal advocacy. He has furthered his academic credentials with international certifications, including the Introduction to Intellectual Property from the University of Pennsylvania, which sharpened his understanding of global IP frameworks. As a published author, his articles titled as “The Copy-Paste Dilemma”, “AI in Courtrooms” and AI vs IP: Innovate or Infringe” explore contemporary copyright challenges in the digital era, reflecting his keen interest in emerging legal intersections. Ghaneem has also represented Pakistan on international platforms, including the Sports Arbitration Moot (SAM), where he contributed to shaping arguments on sports law and arbitration. Under his directorship, CIPA has expanded its reach across universities and legal institutions, launching impactful awareness campaigns, policy dialogues, and student competitions that equip the next generation of professionals with essential 21st-century legal tools. Looking forward, Ghaneem is committed to transforming Pakistan’s legal infrastructure by embedding innovation at its core. His vision includes creating stronger international linkages, fostering indigenous scholarship, and empowering youth to become drivers of legal change in a rapidly evolving digital world.
